Looking forward to seeing you on an adventure soon
The inaccessible coastline around Chapman’s Peak is arguably the most scenic in Cape Town and we get to explore it
by kayak! You’ll spot hidden beaches and caves and the water is often so clear you can see right to the bottom! This is an in and out paddle as we don’t have many places to land but it offers the most spectacular views of the bay looking over the Sentinel.
Our kayak trips are suited to all skill levels and we have purchased locally designed and manufactured double sit on top kayaks from Vagabond kayaks. These are super stable, comfortable and fast kayaks with ample room for storage. We have developed three routes around the peninsular so if conditions are not suitable, we can often offer an alternative route.

Gravity Adventures
Me and my friend decided to go on a kayak adventure quite last minute (on a Friday, for the weekend ahead) and we quickly booked online. After that Brenton promptly reached out to me on WhatsApp with all relevant info regarding meteo forecast, what to expect, what to bring, where to meet. He way very available and kind from minute 1! Our kayak tour was scheduled on Sunday morning at 9am, we paddled out with him and his two kids (it was just the 5 of us, 3 kayak in total, basically a private tour!! Amazing!). Brenton is not just a kayak guide: he's a certified whale watcher knows every inch of hout bay, and it's inhabitants! We've met loads of seals, dolphins (two different species!) and Brenton was telling us interesting historical, geological and socio-cultural facts the whole way around. It was just the best! Would totally recommend and will definitely book again soon! Thank you Brenton :) Viola - Viola
It was very memorable and the scenery was spectacular. It was not an easy paddle for a non regular canoeing in that the kayak has no real back support, so posture while paddling out into the waves is difficult. We adjusted the footrest while on the water which helped a bit. The guide was helpful & humorous. I would recommend it to social paddlers as a challenge to take on. - Steve
